PROPOSED ITINERARY OF TRAVEL FOR TOURIST
For 3 days and 2 nights
Place of Interest: Sabtang Island
Day 1
5:30 AM
ETD Manila
7:30 AM
ETA Basco. Check –in Hotel/homestay.
Note: You can choose to check-in at a hotel in Basco and leave your things there or head straight to jump-off point to Sabtang.
9:00 AM – 12:00 NN
If you choose to find a hotel in Basco, get settled. Have breakfast. Pack your things to Sabtang in a smaller bag. Tour Basco town. Take early lunch at hotel.
Then wait/hire for jeepney to bring you to San Vicente Port, the jumpoff point to Sabtang.
If you opt to bring your things to Sabtang, then find a place in Basco to have breakfast. Spend your morning in Basco touring the main town. Then make sure you take the late morning jeep ride to the southern towns. Get off at San Vicente Port where you will wait for the ferry ride to Sabtang.
Tip: Ask the local passengers for the latest news on when the next ferry trip would be. Or call the numbers of the ferry boat operators provided here (link).

Target time to be at San Vicente Port.
Last departure of motorized boats to Sabtang is around lunch time.

4:00PM
Arrive at Centro. Freshen up. Pack an overnight bag and head to Chavayan. Hire a motorcycle or ask if there’s any vehicle heading to the village. Hitch a ride. Otherwise, the eight-kilometer distance may be too taxing. Spend the night in Chavayan in a local home. Best choice is Harold Gabotero’s house.
